Smart-Campus, Internet of Things, Innovation and organizational management
Abstract
Smart Campus is an important player in driving and implementing new organizational policies in Federal Universities, such as Big Data, Internet of Things (IoT). The result of these new policies translates into obtaining more information for the institution's managers, in addition to the optimization of public resources in the face of an increasing scenario of budget constraints, redefining the role of the public institution regarding the efficiency and effectiveness of public policies, resulting in in a positive impact on the satisfaction of the institution's professors, administrative technicians and students, promoting the development of teaching, research and extension. Therefore, it is essential to investigate the conditions of human resources and infrastructure for an effective installation of a Smart Campus so that managers and actors who will participate in the project identify the main obstacles, at the Federal University, regarding the necessary requirements for the applicability of a Smart Campus in the institution.
