Abstract

The present study aims to address the crimes committed against the environment, so that it was analyzed about the current legislation and how the legal system governs the conduct scans practiced that cause damage and damage to the environment. Therefore, the work has as its general objective to analyze the Law of Environmental Crimes and in a specific way has the following objectives, studied about relevant points involving the theme, such as concepts, principles and other norms that regulate the theme, such as the Federal Constitution of 1988. Regarding the methodology, the deductive method was used, the research technique was bibliographic research, the objective of the research was descriptive. In the light of the above, it was observed that Brazilian legislation has a specific law responsible for regulating environmental crimes, whose same plays both a restorative and preventive role.
