Abstract

The crimes involving the Brazilian fauna are disciplined between Articles 29 to 35 of Law No. 9,605/1998, the legislator sought to discipline the crimes committed against the fauna and apply criminal penalties applicable to offenders who commit such criminal offenses. Therefore, the present study seeks to analyze these articles and understand the crimes that can be committed against the fauna and later what penalties are appropriate to it. Taking this into account, the general objective is the normative study of the law in question, and for this it was necessary to expose some specific objectives, at first studied about the concept of crime, secondly addressed concepts and characteristics related to Brazilian fauna and finally exposed the crimes against fauna. For this purpose, the following methodology was used, as to the objective of the research was descriptive. Regarding the research, this was qualitative, with the evaluation analysis of the bibliographic materials used. The approach used was deductive and the research technique was bibliographic research
