CLASSIFICAÇÃO DE RISCO NOS SERVIÇOS DE URGÊNCIA E EMERGÊNCIA NA ATENÇÃO PRIMÁRIA EM SAÚDE
Abstract
The present study aimed to verify the role of nurses in risk classification in urgency and emergency services in Primary Health Care. This is an integrative literature review, which included studies published between 2017-2021, through the LILACS, Latindex, SCIELO, and BDENF databases. The following descriptors were used: "Urgency"; "Emergency"; "Nursing Care"; "Health Services" and "Risk Classification". After the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 14 studies were selected to compose the present study. It was verified that this research responded to the established objectives, where it was possible to identify the main actions of the nursing professional, such as: developing a listening ear to the complaints and the patient's health condition background; evaluating the clinical situation based on the patient's signs and symptoms; performing the patient's risk classification in the period of time stipulated by the protocol used; orienting the patient about the meaning of the wristbands' colors; informing the patient about the waiting time for care; instructing the patient to notify him/her in case there is any change in his/her symptoms; informing the patient and family/accompanying members about the RR.
