Melon production in Brazil has been growing due to several studies and technologies launched in the market. The objective of this study was to evaluate the growth, physiology of yellow melon and the percentage of fresh and dry phytomass distributed among the tissues of the plant organs under the application of VIUSID-Agro® biostimulant and the number of fruits. The experiment was developed at the Federal University of Campina Grande, at the Center for Agri-Food Science and Technology, located in Pombal-PB, Brazil. The experimental design used was randomized blocks in a 4 x 2 factorial scheme with four replications. The treatments consisted of 4 application methods (1 = Seed immersion and application to seedlings, via leaf; 2 = Seed immersion, application to seedlings, leaf and application to production via fertigation; 3 = application to production via fertigation and 4 = Without application of the biostimulant (Witness) and in the second factor the control of fruits, ie plants with controlled fruiting in 2 fruits per plant and with spontaneous fruiting. Growth analyzes were performed; phytomass accumulation and partition; and physiological analyzes. The VIUSID-Agro® biostimulant favored the growth and accumulation of phytomass in yellow melon when applied twice, in seed immersion and during seedling production. Tending to have greater expression for leaf number and stem length at 30 days after transplantation, especially when associated with fruiting control, leaving two fruits per plant.
