Lantanio en el control in vitro de Alternaria solani ye inducción del mecanismo de resistencia contra tizón temprano

Elementos Tierras raras han sido probados en el control de enfermedades de las plantas. Lantano (La) se probó efectivo en el control de Alternaria solani (in vitro) y del tizón temprano (in vivo), usando las concentraciones 0; 0.1; 0.2; 0.4 y 0.8 g L-1. Para los ensayos in vitro las concentraciones fueron diluidas en medio de cultivo V8 y se evaluaron el índice de crecimiento micelial (IVCM) y la esporulación del patógeno. In vivo, 24 h después de la aplicación de las concentraciones en tomate, se llevó a cabo la inoculación con el patógeno y 24 h después de la inoculación del mismo, se recogieron hojas para cuantificar la actividad específica de catalasa y peroxidasa del guaiacol. También se analizó el área bajo la curva del progreso de la enfermedad (AACPD) en las hojas de tomate. Las concentraciones 0.27 y 0.28 g L-1 de La redujeron 28% y 50% el IVCM y la esporulación, respectivamente. La actividad de peroxidasa y catalasa se incrementó en 298% y 151% en tomates tratados con 0.5 y 0.4 g L-1 de La, respectivamente. In vivo, se observó una reducción del 70% en AACPD del tizón temprano al aplicar 0.27 g de L-1 de La. Los resultados muestran que el Lantano tiene efecto de control sobre Alternaria solani y en la activación de los mecanismos resistencia en tomate, así puede ser usado en el control del tizón temprano del tomate.
