A inserção do Direito Constitucional na educação básica brasileira para formação de um cidadão democrático
Resumen
The research shows the dissatisfaction of Brazilians with the democratic regime, which, according to the Chilean organization Latinobarómetro, has been gradually increasing. Based on this fact, an analysis of the Brazilian educational system was presented, focusing on the current constitutional legislation, demonstrating that Law and education are closely related. Subsequently, there is the conceptualization of the term democracy, an essential term for this work. Then, the data that underlie the problem of this research were shown and, subsequently, how the lack of constitutional knowledge contributed to the expansion of these indices. Subsequently, an exposition is made about the original constituent power and the relationship of interdependence between the Constitution and democracy. And yet, there is evidence of a bill that surrounds the discussed topic, to demonstrate that this problem has notoriety in the National Congress. In addition, the work validates Brazilian legislation to demonstrate how they ensure and encourage the appreciation of democracy. Finally, the importance of the academic debate on the democratic obstacle as a consequence of the constitutional illiteracy present in Brazilian society is highlighted, as well as alternatives and suggestions to circumvent this problem.
