Abstract

The use of nutritional supplements in animal feed has been widely investigated to improve health and productivity. Royal jelly, known for its nutritional and therapeutic properties, has been applied to enhance reproductive performance and metabolic health. Therefore, royal jelly has a wide range of therapeutic properties, including antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory effects. Studies indicate that royal jelly can contribute to the improvement of conditions such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and neurodegenerative diseases. Furthermore, evidence suggests that royal jelly can promote wound healing, improve skin health and play a role in strengthening the immune system. It  works by neutralizing free radicals present in the body, which are molecules that cause cellular damage. Royal jelly captures oxygen and causes a reduction in the presence of free radicals that are responsible for carrying out oxidative action in the body. Given its Ananti-inflammatory capacity, it acts by minimizing the clinical signs of the inflammatory.  phase. Analysis shows that royal jelly has a positive impact on various health conditions due to its rich composition of nutrients and bioactive compounds. The antioxidant properties help combat oxidative stress, while the anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory activities may be beneficial for the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases. However, more research is needed to clarify the exact mechanisms of action and determine effective and safe dosages for different health conditions.
