The COVID-19 pandemic and the health measures adopted impacted the entire world, modifying social life and institutional functioning, and not only due to the lives lost, but also due to changes in people's ways of life and the ways in which institutions are organized. The article aims to report the experience of a group from PET-Saúde/Interprofessionalidade regarding the training of academics and health workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. This is an experience lived in 2020 at a Federal Education Institution, developed through meetings using digital information and communication technologies. The group included academics from the Nursing, Psychology, Medicine and Physical Education courses, Nursing and Psychology teachers, and as preceptors, nurses, a psychologist and a social worker. The problematization anchored in the Arco de Manguerez was the referential basis for its development. The findings demonstrate that there was progress in the understanding and experience of theory and practice, especially with regard to collaborative skills: Teamwork and Interprofessional Communication. It is concluded that it was possible to understand the group's demands and align concepts about interprofessionality, interprofessional education and collaborative skills.
