Ensino centrado no residente: experiência do round multidisciplinar como estratégia pedagógica de formação do residente

Introduction: Using resident-centered teaching as a strategy, there was the construction of a more adequate educational action to meet the need experienced, the "round", which proves to be considerably effective, combining theory and practice, in an environment with freedom to exchange experiences, knowledge and opinions of each area, in order to achieve the best interventions. Objective: Describing the implementation of the multidisciplinary round, through the construction of strategies to improve interdisciplinary work and collaborative practices for user care. Method: This is an experience report study of a large philanthropic hospital in the city of Cachoeiro de Itapemirim-ES. Results: From March to August 2023, weekly team meetings were held in a multidisciplinary round format using the resident-centered teaching strategy. Through the approaches carried out, it was identified the importance of team discussions to achieve goals, which have a direct impact on the quality of care provided, patient care and the improvement of effective communication. Conclusion: In the health area, the strategy of the multidisciplinary round with resident-centered teaching provided the opportunity for the construction of knowledge with protagonism and criticism. The performance of the preceptorship favored the construction of knowledge in an interdisciplinary way, breaking with the traditional teaching model, offering benefits to the patients served, with an integrated and personalized approach to the treatment of their health conditions.
