The covid-19 pandemic, is a respiratory disease transmitted through a somewhat unknown virus, which caused several impacts on daily life, especially the elderly population, which is considered a risk group, with preventive measures for transmission, for example, social distancing, resulting in loneliness and sadness, thus bringing depression and other impacts. According to the WHO, the elderly population is more vulnerable to this virus, especially those with chronic diseases. An integrative reading review was carried out.
