Pet Terapia: Intervenções assistidas por animais através das mídias sociais

The COVID-19 pandemic has evolved rapidly, making it necessary to adopt strategies to reduce its spread. The use of mask, hand hygiene, avoid agglomerations and social distance. The latter, Pet Therapy has adapted its interventions for social media. the objective of this work was to observe the repercussion of the digital content made available on the social networks of the project. Different content was developed and published on social networks for children and adults, with an educational focus, entertainment and cognitive skills. There were a total of 289 posts that obtained an average of 388 account reaches on Instagram, 466 impressions, 3.1 shares and 25 likes. We observed a greater reaction from the population in posts with words of support, followed by posts with informative content, pet memory, enrichment activities, children's games and children's videos. It is concluded that the Pet Therapy project adapted its animal-assisted interventions to the online format, using the captivating and friendly image of co-therapist dogs to strengthen interpersonal ties and thus reduced the impacts that social isolation has been causing in children's lives. and adults.
