Portfólio reflexivo: Uma ferramenta de avaliação

Introduction: Among innovative teaching, learning and assessment methodologies, the portfolio stands out as a method of stimulating reflective thinking, a potential pedagogical process that helps students transform into active people, critical researchers. This methodology portrays the student's life story, their progress and achievements, highlighting their participation in the selection and judgment of the content sought, which promotes reflection and the development of critical capacity. Objective: This study aims to understand the student's view of the reflective portfolio as an assessment method. Methodology: This is a qualitative bibliographic review, including articles published between 2012 and 2022, on the digital platforms Literatura Latinoamericana y del Caribe en Ciencias de la Salud (LILACS) and Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), of national and international articles. Results: 5 scientific articles were chosen that mentioned the reflective portfolio as a means of evaluation, applied in the health area, focusing on the student's view in relation to the reflective portfolio evaluation method. Discussion: Researchers point to self-criticism/reflective criticism as the main axis of student results. They tend to encourage reflective practice, reflection in their narratives. Researchers affirm the evaluative nature of the reflective portfolio as a self-evaluation strategy. They highlight the intertwining of theory and practice experienced as a second point, highlighting the level of learning, encouraging reflective practice, helping to organize learning. They use PR as an instrument for building knowledge. Conclusion: It is a tool that promotes learning through assessment, encourages active learning and provides students with independence.
