Abstract

Education has undergone a significant transformation in recent years, mainly with the advent of Education 4.0, this new era of education is characterized by the integration of technology, personalized learning and the development of new teaching strategies. As a result, the role of the pedagogue has also evolved, requiring educators to adapt to new teaching methods and technologies. The present work aims to analyze the challenges and innovations faced by pedagogues in the context of Education 4.0, characterized by the integration of digital technologies and the development of personalized teaching strategies. The method used is of a qualitative approach and bibliographic in nature. Data collection was carried out through searches in academic databases, such as Google Scholar and SciELO, with an emphasis on articles, monographs and books that deal with the central theme of the study. The data analysis procedures were based on a critical and interpretative reading of the collected sources, with the aim of identifying trends and gaps in the literature that discusses the role of the pedagogue in the digital era. The primary data profile was composed of recent articles and academic studies that discuss pedagogical practice in Education 4.0. Secondary data were extracted from books and consolidated research on the topic. Education 4.0 is driven by the need to prepare students for the demands of the 21st century, including the ability to think critically, collaborate and communicate effectively.
